It was a great night of “Furry-wood” glitz and glamour at the Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet’s second annual Pawpurazzi event held in the Garden at the Village of Merrick Park. The night was full of stars, 2 legged and 4 legged, walking the red carpet at what proved to be the most sophisticated doggie event of the year so far! Live music, fabulous food by Chispa Restaurant, Martinis and Mojitos, wine donated by Southern Vines, Inc., critically acclaimed dancing dogs - the night was a tail waggin’ success!

Surrounded by Miami’s hottest local celebrities and socialites, glamour and poise defined the evening with the attendance of Ferne and Danny Toccin, Event Chair People, Lola Jacobson, Honorary Chairwoman, Edie Laquer, D.J. Kerr, Rene Ruiz, Helene Kovens, Brent Cameron, Belkys Nerey, Jennifer Santiago, Willard Shepard and many others. The cat walk was filled with the best of the best as the doggie darlings showed off their outfits or just strutted their stuff, with wit and charm from Kelly Craig who hosted the show.

The Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet is a non-profit organization that relies solely on individual donations and on special events like Pawpurrazzi to raise funds for the homeless cats and dogs in our care.
