City National Bank of Florida (CNB) recently marked the grand opening of its new Brickell Banking Center at an evening reception for city and civic officials, business executives and clients. The event also celebrated the 100th anniversary of Brickell Avenue, which lends its name to America’s most recognized financial district after Wall Street.
The event’s VIPs included Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, former Miami Beach Mayor and CNB board member Neisen Kasdin, Miami Downtown Development Authority Executive Director Alyce Robertson, Florida International University President and CNB board member Mark Rosenberg, and numerous others. Many local business and residential organizations also were represented, including the Brickell Area Association and the Brickell Homeowners Association. CNB President and Chief Executive Officer Jorge Gonzalez introduced senior administrators of CNB parent Caja Madrid, one of Spain’s oldest and largest financial institutions. He also presented Commissioner Sarnoff with a commemorative photo of the Everglades taken by South Florida-based photographer Alejandro Borgese. Commissioner Sarnoff congratulated CNB on the opening of the banking center.
City National Bank, which has served the downtown and Brickell areas for 50 years, expanded its high-touch personal service and best-in-class client experience to Miami’s international banking and business center at its Brickell Banking Center. Situated in the LEED® Gold Certified 1450 Brickell Avenue building, the new banking center brings City National Bank’s total number of locations in Florida to 26. It is the only bank with four locations in the downtown and Brickell areas.
The banking center is the most recent indication of CNB’s growth and expansion in both services and locations during the past year. The bank’s 65-year heritage as the personalized banking team for customers across South Florida and beyond is built upon its core values.
One of South Florida’s most stable, reliable and sound banks, CNB prides itself on being large enough to give clients what they want, but small enough to do it the way clients want it. Bank professionals embrace the communities they serve and provide a diverse array of financial products and personal services to small businesses, corporate and commercial clients, and individuals.
CNB is the fourth-largest financial institution in the state with more than $3.8 billion in assets, $2.8 billion in deposits and $1.8 billion in loans.
