A Night Honoring South Florida Philanthropists

Sean Kramer, AVP, Baptist Health Foundation; Lee Klein, new Chairman’s Circle member, Children’s Cancer Caring Center; and Nicole de Lara Puente, director of development, Baptist Health Foundation.

Baptist Health Foundation honored more than 300 of its most generous supporters at an exclusive evening at the historic Biltmore Hotel. The organization’s “Annual Celebration of Generosity” honors donors who have, in the past year, become new members of the Foundation’s Giving Societies at levels ranging from $10,000 to $5,000,000 and up.

The evening also acknowledges Baptist Health Foundation’s “Corporate Philanthropy Partners,” who have contributed from $10,000 to $100,000 and up to help Baptist Health South Florida continue to improve medical services throughout the community.

Following remarks by Baptist Health South Florida President and CEO Brian E. Keeley and Baptist Health Foundation Board Chair Rudy Kranys, Foundation CEO Bill Banchs and CBS4 Chief News Anchor Rick Folbaum led the awards presentation, capped with a performance by singer, songwriter and pianist Frankie Moreno, named “Las Vegas Headliner of the Year” two times running.

Presenting sponsor of the event was Sheridan Healthcare, Inc. Evening sponsors were Brandes Investment Partners, L.P.; Columbia Threadneedle Investments; C.S. McKee, L.P.; OFI Global Asset Management; Sage Advisory Services, Ltd. Co.; Segall Bryant and Hamill; and SEIX Investment Advisors, LLC.
