Hugs & Kisses Children’s Fashion Show Raises over $150,000
Dozens of kids, ages newborn to 15, strutted down the runway at the Wild West-themed 7th Annual Hugs & Kisses Children’s Fashion Show. The event was co-chaired by Constance M. Fernandez and Lana Bernstein and was hosted by Miami Metrozoo’s own Ron Magill and Radio Disney’s Anay Villar.
The Hugs & Kisses Children’s Fashion Show raised over $150,000 for Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, while playing host to some of Miami’s most recognized families. For the seventh straight year, the production of the fashion show was donated by Maritere Secada of Secada Productions. Key sponsors included: Wachovia Wealth Management, Atlantic Dental Inc., Hospitalists of America, Neff Corp, Adrian Builders, B-MAX Investments, GL Homes of Florida, as well as Vicky & Carlos Lowell, DJ & Steven Kerr, Dr. & Mrs. Jonathan Jagid and Dany & Dwayne Johnson, Norma & Luis Quintero, Gus & Jeanie Vidaurreta and Ocean Drive Magazine.
This year’s event was also attended by well known South Floridians such as Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), former Miami Heat player Glen Rice and eight time Olympic medalist swimmer Gary Hall, who joined in the fun along with their families and friends.
The success of the 7th annual children’s fashion show helps Miami Children’s Hospital continue to expand and maintain its standing as Florida’s number one pediatric hospital. For additional information about Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, please call (305) 666-2889 or visit our website at
