The Green Room Society, a new young patrons group of Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, hosted a major bash at Miami Beach’s chic Setai Hotel on August 26. Sponsored by Bombay Sapphire, Schramsberg Vineyards, Flamingo South Beach and the Setai Hotel, the inaugural event was attended by nearly 700 young Miamians.

Funky, ambient beats by DJ Lolo provided the musical backdrop while Asian-inspired hors d’oeuvres were passed among the mingling crowd. Goodie bags, courtesy of Flamingo South Beach, included flip-flops, a t-shirt, and a travel coffee tumbler. Staging & lights were provided by Michael Design & New Image Productions.
The Green Room Society (GRS) is Carnival Center for the Performing Arts young professionals’ membership group for those interested in shaping Miami’s growing cultural landscape. GRS is dedicated to celebrating Carnival Center and supporting the wide array of Center-presented performances. The group is committed to developing & expanding audiences and building a significant community of young individuals who have a passion for the performing arts. Their efforts are essential to the future success of Carnival Center and to the performing arts in South Florida.
