Once a year, Miami’s finest philanthropists and supporters reach for the stars and spend an evening of entertainment in support of Children’s Resources. This year was no different. On Saturday, April 8th, the Four Seasons Hotel was rockin’ with live music, dance performances and the best cuisine in town. Over 300 guests supported CRF’s 39th year of efforts to raise funds for children with disabilities. Project New Born’s Sounds of Motown
Project New Born’s Sounds of Motown event offered a musical extravaganza to the more than 500 guests who gathered at the Magic City Casino for a –well-magical evening. Not only did the legendary group, who were inducted into the Rock & Roll hall of Fame perform their popular songs but from the minute guests entered the venue the music never stopped.

Feast with the Beasts 2017
The more than 850 guests who attended Feast with the Beasts at Zoo Miami, dined on delectable bites from South Florida restaurants and establishments, enjoyed wild animal encounters, open bars from Bacardí, their largest ever Hookah Lounge, live entertainment and more. Guests came dressed in chic cocktail attire and together raised more than $225,000, benefiting Zoo Miami’s education and conservation efforts.
The Centennial Celebration Ball
The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys celebrated 100 years of service to the South Florida community with The Centennial Celebration Ball at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne. Chaired by Mary “Mimi” Bradley Shafey, the Ball honored past chairs and recognized the life-saving services provided by the American Red Cross. Philanthropists and community champions, Swanee and Paul DiMare, were presented with the Centennial Humanitarian Award at the event.
