Baptist Health Foundation Salutes and Celebrates Corporate Philanthropy
Baptist Health Foundation’s growing Corporate Philanthropy Partners program is an alliance between corporations, foundations and business leaders with a shared interest in improving the health and quality of life for everyone in the community.
To salute them for their philanthropic spirit, Baptist Health Foundation held the first “Celebration of Generosity” exclusively for its 100 Corporate Philanthropy Partners.
Miracle Makers “Haute Hat” Luncheon & Fashion Show
South Florida’s philanthropic and fashionable community members gathered at the Miracle Makers “Haute Hat” Luncheon & Fashion Show, hosted by the Women’s Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. Miracle Makers Honorees were celebrated, while attendees wearing “haute hats” enjoyed a fashion show presented by designer Mayda Cisneros. Proceeds from the event benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, furthering its mission to transform the lives of at-risk children through supportive mentoring relationships. This year’s Honorary Chairs were Swanee and Paul DiMare and the event Co-Chairs were Cristina Pereyra Alvarez, Irene Korge, Bronwyn Miller and Migna Sanchez-Llorens.
The American Cancer Society’s 2017 Miami Annual Gala
The American Cancer Society raised over $865,000 at the “One More Time, Dancing for a Cause” 2017 Annual Miami Gala presented by The Miami Cancer Institute/Baptist Health South Florida. The Annual Gala took place at the beautiful JW Marriott Marquis. Over 600 influential leaders within Miami’s social and corporate communities gathered for a philanthropic night filled with elegance, exquisite food and entertainment surrounded by an oriental inspired decor; all united by one common goal to raise much needed funds for cancer research.
