The Related Group Unveils Auberge Miami Design Center
The Related Group celebrated the opening of Auberge Residences & Spa Miami's new Piero Lissoni-designed sales center with an intimate sneak peek of the Arsht Center's summer show, Cirque Éloize’s Cirkopolis. Jon Paul Pérez, Jorge Pérez’s eldest son and lead developer of the Auberge Miami project, and Carlos Rosso, President of Related’s Condo Division, welcomed guests and spoke about the project.

American Jewish Committee’s Gala
Harley S. Tropin, president of Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, received American Jewish Committee’s 2016 Judge Learned Hand Award at a gala dinner at Jungle Island. Hundreds of legal, business and community leaders attended the event and presentation of the award, which was established by AJC in 1964 to recognize leaders in the legal profession for their excellence and contributions to the practice of law.

Al and Nancy Malnik Host Annual Garden Party
Al and Nancy Malnik, Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida Lifetime Benefactors, hosted their annual Garden Party at their Ocean Ridge estate. The occasion welcomed more than 200 supporters kicking off the highly anticipated 22nd anniversary of the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball, to take place Saturday, November 12, 2016. Shareef Malnik, Gala Chairman and proprietor of The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar, announced this year’s theme will be La Nuit de l’Animal (Night of the Animal), promising their largest gala to-date.

Carl Hiaasen and Tim Chapman at Opening Night of “Newsman” Exhibition
It was a night full of incredible storytelling at the HistoryMiami Museum as legendary author Carl Hiaasen joined famed photojournalist Tim Chapman on stage for the opening night of Newsman: The Photojournalism of Tim Chapman. A sold out crowd, including Senator Bob Graham, former Newspaper editors, and influential journalists from across the globe, packed into the theatre of the Museum in downtown Miami to hear the two newsman tell tales of covering the Magic City. Director and Producer Billy Corbin sat in the front row, and joined Chapman and Hiaasen on stage as they discussed the wild days of the Cocaine Cowboys era of Miami.
