FAAM Optical and Geometrical Collection Auction The Moore Building
FAAM - Fine Art Auctions Miami will host its sixth annual April Auction: Optical and Geometrical Collection | Important Paintings & Sculptures from the 20th century in the Miami Design District, at the Moore Building. The sale includes artworks by VASARELY, LE PARC, BURLIUK, MIRO, MATTA, FABELO amongst others.
Laundromat Art Space will present a group exhibition of new works featuring art from Elysa D. Batista, JC Rodriguez, and Ronald Sanchez. The three featured artists will showcase text-based art in celebration of National Poetry Month. All artwork displayed will show words or phrases using a multitude of mediums. The exhibit will run through April 29. Admission is free.
The MiFo LGBT Film Festival is a bi-annual film festival with a mission to inspire, entertain, and educate the public and encourage a sense of community through international and culturally diverse film, video and other media that offer historical and contemporary perspectives on the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender experience.
Starting April 4th, Villa Azur, Miami Beach’s 5-year-old destination for Mediterranean fare in a setting reminiscent of French and Italian Riviera’s, will launch their monthly ingredient focused tasting menus. To kick off the special for the month of April, the special ingredient on deck is the White Asparagus. Tickets range from $80 to $135.
