Details
Leading contemporary dance company, Augusto Soledade Brazzdance (ASBD), will premiere their latest piece Think Blue in the Arsht Center's intimate Carnival Studio Theater at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Their performance will also include excerpts of different works both old and new, giving audience members a sample of ASBD's diverse repertoire. Think Blue is inspired by the book Why The Sky Is Far Away: A Nigerian Tale, retold by Mary-Joan Gerson. This repertory work, along with the book, touches on current issues in our relationship with our living environments and natural resources inviting all to reflect on our responsibility in keeping a balance between personal ambitions and sustainability. Tickets are $37.
