New World School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a special concert featuring guest soloist, Philippe Entremont (pictured). One of the most recorded pianists in history, he has enjoyed a career spanning over five decades as a conductor and pianist, having worked with major orchestras around the world. The program features Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto No. 5 E-flat major. Stravinsky’s breathtaking Firebird Suite and Marquez’s powerful Danzon No. 2 will round out the concert under the masterful direction of Maestro Alfred Gershfeld. Tickets are $20 and $10 for students and seniors.
