Red Cross Centennial Celebration Ball
When the Greater Miami & The Keys American Red Cross Chapter hosts its Centennial Celebration Ball on Saturday, March 25, at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, it will mark the 35th annual American Red Cross Ball in South Florida. Chaired by Mary “Mimi” Bradley Shafey, the Ball will honor past chairs and recognize the life-saving services provided by the American Red Cross. Philanthropists and community champions Swanee and Paul DiMare will be honored with the Centennial Humanitarian Award at the event.
This year’s event will take guests on a trip back in time through the past hundred years. The historical narrative of the American Red Cross’ presence in our community will come to life through vintage photos and the testimonials of those the organization has served during its tenure...

Gala chairs and committee members kicked off the 2016-2017 social season and celebrated SocialMiami’s 10th Annual Gala Guide at Behind the Magic's Gala Tablescape and Culinary Art Showcase. Supporters of many of South Florida’s top charities mingled amid the beautifully designed gala tables and enjoyed signature menu items provided by leading caterers. They socialized, talked "shop," and enthusiastically touted their upcoming special events.

Guests at the Behind the Magic Gala Tablescape & Culinary Arts Showcase mingled amid beautifully created gala atmospheres, sipped wine and savored the wonderful treats provided by seven amazing caterers.
Hosted by SocialMiami and Source Miami and presented at at Private Key in the Wynwood Art District, the two-day event welcomed supporters and professionals from local non-profit organizations along with event planners from the corporate, charity and social worlds to experience the latest trends in event design and food.
Behind the Magic - A Big Success!
Behind the Magic's two-day Gala Tablescape and Culinary Art Showcase welcomed more than 400 guests who met design and catering teams, oohed and aahed over the spectacular gala presentations and delicious taste treats offered by seven top catering firms, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Held at Private Key, a unique 10,000 square-foot venue in the Wynwood Art District, chairs and committee members representing South Florida's top gala events mingled with event planners and nonprofit professionals on Thursday night at a private reception to kick off the 2016-2017 social season and celebrate SocialMiami's 10th annual Gala Guide.
