 Heading down N.W. 2nd Avenue and I can’t help but think about David Lombardi's description of the neighborhood.

“Wynwood is an area of non-descript facades with a cherry filling,” he said.

David may have been waxing poetic, but it is so true.

The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation hosted a socially conscious soiree at Plunge’s rooftop lounge at the Gansevoort. More than 100 supporters and friends celebrated Cocktails for a Cause to further the cause of this grassroots charity that raises money for ovarian cancer education and financial assistance to young women diagnosed with the disease.
