Some of the city's brightest young professionals gathered for a kickoff party for the inaugural ARC Party in RED to benefit the American Red Cross. The event will serve as the official after party for the 36th annual Red Cross Ball "A Masquerade in Red," one of the season's most anticipated charity events to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne on April 7, 2018. The kick-off co-hosted by Michele Reese and Vicki Rueda was held at the beautiful Coral Gables home of Barbara and Bill Reese. To set the mood for the masquerade ball, the host committee was surprised with a performance of Phantom of the Opera's aria "Masquerade" by Magic City Opera, led by Graham Fandrei.
The ARC Party in RED will begin at 9:30; attire is black tie/masquerade. The evening will include heavy appetizers, open bar, auction, live music and dancing. The steering committee for the event includes Amanda Altman, Dax Bello, Nelly Farra, Carolyn Hicks, Michele Reese, Vicki Rueda and Joanie Stringer. Tickets are $150. The 36th annual Red Cross Ball, benefiting the Greater Miami and The Keys chapter, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is chaired by Ana and Cecil Milton.
