Miami City Ballet Artist’s Circle members and friends joined Edward Villella for a reception at Fratelli Lyon before attending the opening night of Program IV and to celebrate the close of MCB’s 24th season of dance. The performances at the Arsht Center included George Balanchine’s Who Cares? and Jerome Robbins’ Dances at a Gathering, sweetened with live piano accompaniment by MCB’s own Francisco Rennó.

The Artist’s Circle, MCB’s group of closest friends and most generous supporters, adjourned to the Peacock Rehearsal Studio during intermission where they toasted the successful conclusion of the 24th season.

The receptions were presented by the Artist’s Circle Steering Committee: Bobi Eroncig, Rosalind Richter, Diane Bozorgi, Dr. Amy Buchman, Jacqueline and Jerome Chaves, Pat Farber, Maria Ferguson, Francinelee Hand, Diane Star Heller, Deborah Hodes, Marilyn Levin, Robyn Rich, Judith Schalit, Lois Siegel, Carol Sobel, Lynne Steinfurth and Pamela Zakheim. The Company will resume performances in October when it will open its historic 25th anniversary season.
