Miami City Ballet Benefactors Celebrate 25th Season

Fine wine, champagne and Parisian-inspired dishes were enjoyed by top Miami City Ballet patrons as a prelude to the Company’s exhilarating first program of the New Year. The scene for celebration was internationally renowned, James Beard award-winning Chef Daniel Boulud’s new Miami restaurant, db Bistro Moderne, located at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. The Company premiered Twyla Tharp’s exhilarating Baker’s Dozen, George Balanchine’s haunting La Sonnambula, the buoyant Western Symphony, and the pas de deux Diana and Actaeon. Afterwards, the benefactors headed to a dessert and champagne reception in the Arsht Center’s Peacock Rehearsal Studio hosted by Investor Solutions. Artist’s Circle members provide generous support for Miami City Ballet’s annual operating expenses.
