THE LATINO LIST at the Colony Theatre was presented by HBO, HBO Latino and AT&T in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The HBO Documentary Films presentation THE LATINO LIST provides a unique glimpse into the vibrant and burgeoning culture of Hispanic America through a series of highly personal video portraits of Latinos who have richly contributed to the fabric of contemporary society. Directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders (HBO’s “The Black List”), the film spotlights Latinos from a variety of backgrounds, including Cuban, Colombian, Honduran, Mexican, and Puerto Rican, and each interviewee has a different perspective on his or her American success story. In attendance were Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Maria Hinojosa, Gloria Estefan, Emilio Estefan, José Moreno Hernández, Armando Christian Pérez, aka “Pitbull” and Dr. Marta Moreno Vega.
