Thomas Kramer hosted Joshua's Heart Foundation’s first annual fundraiser. The Candy-Land themed event was held at the Kramer estate to raise awareness of the activities the organization is performing in the community.

Some of the activities of note are: the food distributions that are given to communities at distribution points on Saturdays and the Backpack Program, which sends backpacks full of food to students who receive free or reduced school lunches over the weekend so they do not go hungry. The Mistress of Ceremonies was Mayte Padron. in attendance were Ms. Florida, Theresa Wakefield, Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Gongora and Vice Mayor Dede Witherhorn among others.

Some highlights of this inaugural event were the silent auction, the mingling of members of the cirque dreams troupe with the crowd, and the children’s fashion show. The successful event was coordinated by Monica Pardo. Joshua gave his thank you speech to the audience and reiterated his appreciation for the ongoing support of members of the community towards the activities of his Foundation.
