Florida Grand Opera's 2014–15 Season opened to a nearly sold-out crowd at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami. The critically-acclaimed performance was followed by an intimate After Opera Event, consisting of approximately 75 of Florida Grand Opera's biggest opera-lovers and donors. Sponsored by Gunster, Florida’s Law Firm for Business, the dinner was held on the stage of the Ziff Ballet Opera House, where Madama Butterfly was performed minutes earlier. Attendees enjoyed cocktails and a seated, three-course dinner while mixing and mingling with the stars, and even taking photos with them among the scenery. Additional After Opera Events are planned to be held after the opening night performances of the remaining operas in FGO's 2014–15 Season.
