Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Dress for Success Miami hosted a dinner to pay tribute to Florida Senator Gwen Margolis and her 40-year-and-counting career. The event, held at the Hilton Bentley Miami Beach, began with red carpet arrivals, a cocktail reception and a silent auction. During dinner, guests were entertained by the violin duo, Sons of Maestro, and a special performance by Biana Pinchuk, the 10-year-old vocalist/violinist who won the Actors' Playhouse Young Talent Big Dreams competition. Senator Margolis was presented with a flag recently flown over the U.S. Capitol by U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and a copy of the Representative's tribute in the Congressional Record was given to Sonja Jacobson, founder of Dress for Success Miami, commemorating the organization's 20 years of service to our community.
