Housing Works Hosts Fourth Annual Design on a Dime

Housing Works, a leading AIDS-service and advocacy organization, hosted its fourth annual Design on a Dime benefit at The Moore Building in the Miami Design District. The three-day, star-studded benefit raised more than $270,000 in support of the organization’s mission to end AIDS. Participating interior designers and influential tastemakers created 30 one-of-a-kind design vignettes with designer furniture, art and home décor items donated directly from top brands and sold for up to 80 percent off retail. On Friday the Chairman’s Dinner Preview honored philanthropist and real estate developer Avra Jain and esteemed interior designer Wade Hallock. A VIP preview reception on Saturday offered guests an opportunity to meet the 2019 designers, and on Sunday the event was open to the public.
