For more than 50 years, Clyde Butcher has been preserving on black and white film the quiet beauty of Florida’s most undisturbed landscapes. Internationally acclaimed for his photographs and passion for preservation, Butcher opened an exhibition of 36 iconic works titled “Preserving Eden” at the Coral Springs Museum of Art.

The fundraiser, “Butcher & Blues,” provided an opportunity for guests to meet Butcher and discuss his work as they enjoyed a casual evening of food tastings, live entertainment, raffles and a silent auction. The event raised $25,000 for the Museum’s many community outreach and educational programs.
