Chapman Partnership’s nextgen hosts Kentucky Derby Watch Party

More than 100 young professionals dressed to impress at the third annual nextgen Kentucky Derby watch party at Smith and Wollensky. Guests donned fun Derby hats, fascinators and bowties for the event, chaired by Jennifer Marques and Michele Reese to benefit Chapman Partnership for the Homeless. The room was filled with more than 200 roses, donated by Continental Flowers, which set the tone for the ‘Run of the Roses.’ The crowd sipped on mint juleps and posed for pictures at the photo booth provided by the event’s media sponsor, The New Tropic. Priscilla Rettig was awarded the honor of “best hat” and received a pair of Kendra Scott earrings. “Best bowtie” went to Nick Karpinski who took home a bottle of champagne for the honor. nextgen is made up of Miami’s young professionals and community ambassadors, between the ages of 25-40, who work to increase awareness, revenue and advocacy for Chapman Partnership.
