BAM! Beer and Music Festival

With the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the funky METERS

South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) presented BAM! Beer and Music on Saturday night featuring music by two famous New Orleans bands, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the funky METERS. Craft breweries – Funky Buddha, Biscayne Bay, Coppertail, Lagunitas, Dogfish Head, Tank, Concrete Beach and Wakefield – provided beer tastings, and Jim Beam provided spirits. More than 650 people attended this outdoor festival on the SMDCAC Concert Lawn, including local officials: Miami Dade County Commissioner Dennis Moss and Town of Cutler Bay Council Members Mary Ann Mixon and Roger Coriat. BAM! was presented with support by the Miami Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and WDNA 88.9 Jazz FM.
