Hanna & Chloe

Hanna is a seven-year-old purebred Shetland Sheepdog who spent years earning prestigious titles on the dog-show circuit. It was after reaching the ripe old age of four and retiring from her illustrious career that Hanna found her greatest prize of all—a loving home with Pat and Milton Wallace. These days Hanna appears to be preparing a synchronized swimming talent display for some future show: she sleeps on her back with all four paws straight up in the air.

Five-year-old Japanese Spitz Chloe found her way into her owners’ lives through serendipitous circumstances. When Pat was searching online for a Spitz to adopt, a puppy breeder from San Diego contacted her about a former breeding dog he was looking to give away within the next 24 hours. Without even having seen a photo of the dog, Pat wired the payment to the man and adopted Chloe. Chloe arrived a few days later, frightened, dazed, non-responsive and malnourished, having bred puppies nonstop for her entire life of two and a half years. After four therapeutic weeks with a professional dog trainer, Chloe began to show her true personality—she is an outgoing, loving, affectionate dog who enjoys dancing on her back paws.

Hanna and Chloe will be accompanied on the runway by their owner, Pat and Milton Wallace. Hanna & Chloe
