New World School of the Arts honored members of its KEY88 fundraising initiative in grand style during the official opening of Chopard Jewelers at Saks 5th Avenue, Dadeland. The soiree kicked off with a showcase of the arts - jazz tunes by the NWSA award-winning Jazz combo, a selection performed by music theater college students, an aria sung by college senior Sandra Marante, soprano, accompanied by NWSA Interim Provost, Jeffrey Hodgson, and an exclusive showing of artwork by NWSA visual arts faculty member Aramis O’Reilly. Guests enjoyed champagne and hors d'oeuvres, provided by hosts Saks 5th Avenue and Chopard, as they socialized and admired the stunning collection on display by Chopard. KEY88 guests of honor were R. Kirk Landon, founding partner of NWSA’s KEY88 initiative, as well as KEY88 members Abbey Chase, David Lawrence Jr., Deborah Hoffman, Dennis Edwards and Mark Steinberg, Lin Lougheed, and Martha Quevedo, among others. KEY88 supports the vision of NWSA to provide opportunities for its students through endowments, for operations and scholarships. To learn more, call 305-237-3753 or visit
