Amigos for Kids' Broken Crayons Exhibit VIP Night
On Wednesday, December 6, Amigos For Kids unveiled its full sensory art experience, Broken Crayons. Using Miami's largest art showcase as its platform, Amigos For Kids will display an exhibit with a hidden twist. The seemingly average installation will expose unsuspecting visitors to real drawings from real children, which later turned out to be troubling signs of abuse. The VIP event was attended by Pamela Silva Conde and Jomari Goyso.

ARTEFACTO CELEBRATES 15 YEARS IN THE U.S.
Paulo and Lais Bacchi welcomed the stars of Artefacto’s annual Design House for cocktails and a rooftop dinner to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the luxury Brazilian furnishings brand in the U.S. The intimate evening took place in the 5,522-square-foot, $12.5 million penthouse in the coveted Grove at Grand Bay condominium, fully staged in Artefacto’s new anniversary collection that just arrived from Brazil. Design House stars included Pepe Calderin, Monica Souza, Myrna Porcaro, Cary Fernandez Brena, Jessica Jaegger, Adrian Stancati, Javier Soto, Stanley Matz and Mirtha Arriaran.
Hotel Beaux Arts, located on the 38th, 39th and 40th floors of the JW Marriott Marquis in Downtown Miami, celebrated its conversion into a Marriott International's Autograph Collection Hotel with an intimate open house. Guests enjoyed art curated by Artscape who has partnered with the hotel to offer hotel guests an elevated art experience with works from Julio Le Parc and John Henry. Henry (pictured [center] with guests and a maquette of his work, Cathedral Columbia) was in attendance. Bites and cocktails were provided by Hotel Beaux Arts' signature restaurants, L'Atelier and db Bistro Moderne.
MARC ANTHONY CELEBRATES AT MAGNUS ALL-STAR BASH
Global music icon Marc Anthony joined Latin Superstars Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom from Gente de Zona to celebrate one of the biggest nights in baseball at the Magnus Media All-Star Bash. The event, held at Seaspice in Miami after the All-Star Game, also gathered some of baseball’s best, including NY Yankees Gary Sanchez and former MLB player Luis Figueroa. Guests enjoyed specialty Johnnie Walker cocktails, including Marc Anthony, who was gifted a personalized bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, the most exclusive blend in the portfolio, to commemorate the occasion. ANDREW LUE WINS MIAMI'S MOST IMAGINATIVE BARTENDER
Miami’s Andrew Lue (Sugar, East Hotel) was chosen as the regional winner of the 11th Annual Most Imaginative Bartender Competition presented by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Gin. Andrew beat out top mixologists from Miami showcasing the artistry that goes into making an imaginative cocktail. This summer, Andrew and 11 other top mixologists from across North America will head to England – the home of Bombay Sapphire and its Laverstoke Distillery – to vie for the 2017 North American title. The Miami competition was held at Beaker & Gray where Andrew and his “Uncharted Territory” cocktail was named “Most Imaginative” based on appearance, aroma, imagination, and taste.

BRAVO'S THOM FILICIA CELEBRATES BISCAYNE BEACH
Miami's top brokers celebrated the grand opening of Biscayne Beach, developed by Two Roads Development and GTIS Partners, in Miami's East Edgewater neighborhood. The 52-story tower redefines how Miamians live and play by bringing the beach to the city with resort-style amenities. Biscayne Beach marks the Miami debut for celebrity designer and former TV star (Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) Thom Filicia as the brainchild behind the project's sophisticated 'beach chic' designs. Guests at the opening were treated to the sounds of DJ YSL and live entertainment by Patrick & The Swayzes while enjoying beach-themed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Local youth had the opportunity to play with big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series recently. The free clinic featured former MLB players who taught baseball skills, drills and life lessons. Players attending included Florida Marlins teammates and 1997 World Series champions Antonio Alfonseca and Alex Arias, along with Hector Almonte, Bill Hurst, Terry McGriff, Rusty Meachum and Brad Pennington. These seven players combine for 44 seasons, 1,842 games, 62 wins and 142 saves in Major League Baseball.
