BOB BOUGHNER NAMED PANTHERS HEAD COACH
Panthers GM Dale Tallon announced that Bob Boughner has been named the team's new head coach. Says Tallon, "Bob blew us away with his preparation, his passion, knowledge and dedication to the game. We believe that he is the right leader to get our team back to competing towards our goal of winning the Stanley Cup.”
Miami's top brokers celebrated the grand opening of Biscayne Beach, developed by Two Roads Development and GTIS Partners, in Miami's East Edgewater neighborhood. The 52-story tower redefines how Miamians live and play by bringing the beach to the city with resort-style amenities. Biscayne Beach marks the Miami debut for celebrity designer and former TV star (Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) Thom Filicia as the brainchild behind the project's sophisticated 'beach chic' designs. Guests at the opening were treated to the sounds of DJ YSL and live entertainment by Patrick & The Swayzes while enjoying beach-themed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. MLB HEROES WORK WITH LOCAL YOUTH AT MARLINS PARK
Local youth had the opportunity to play with big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series recently. The free clinic featured former MLB players who taught baseball skills, drills and life lessons. Players attending included Florida Marlins teammates and 1997 World Series champions Antonio Alfonseca and Alex Arias, along with Hector Almonte, Bill Hurst, Terry McGriff, Rusty Meachum and Brad Pennington. These seven players combine for 44 seasons, 1,842 games, 62 wins and 142 saves in Major League Baseball.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and light bites by James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, who will have a restaurant at the completed property. MAJOR LAZER AND BACARDÍ KICK OFF SUMMER
BACARDÍ and Major Lazer kicked-off summer with a private Sound of Rum experience on the shores of BACARDÍ Bay. BACARDÍ harnessed its Caribbean roots and brought together a diverse mix of reggae, dancehall, soca, hip-hop and electronic music alongside four island-inspired pop-up restaurants from across the globe. Serving up authentic island fare, rum cocktails and new music, the event culminated with a live sound system performance by Major Lazer as they premiered their latest summer tracks and debuted their Limited Edition Rum.
In honor of Paramahamsa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi," a public talk was held at Florida International University's Graham Center. Seven hundred enthusiasts enjoyed the talk, themed Yoga, Health and Well-Being – A Dialog for Uniting Body, Mind and Spirit. Prominent spiritual and health leaders Yogashree N. V. Raghuram (Founder of Yoga Bharati), Dr. Akhilesh Sharma (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine), and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda (world-revered master of Kriya Yoga) came from India and talked about holistic approaches to well-being through meditation, hatha yoga, ayurvedic medicine and diet. "Once Upon a Night" was the theme for Bagatelle's two-year anniversary party, complete with story book facade entrance, an oversized teacup that spouted bubbles and cupcake carousels. guests were treated to endless champagne parades, tracks spun by resident DJ Vincent Daubas, live music performances by Keba, and a curated menu of French-Mediterranean favorites from Chef Mattheiu Godard.
