Video: Celebrating National YoungArts Foundation

A commitment to artistic development and inspiring the creative spirit

The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) identifies and nurtures the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts and assists them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development. YoungArts aspires to create a community of alumni that provides a lifetime of encouragement, opportunity and support.

A new video about YoungArts, directed by YoungArts alumnus and award-winning filmmaker Doug Blush, celebrates the spirit of the organization, the master teachers, and its talented alumni, as well as YoungArts’ commitment to artistic development. The video premiered during National YoungArts Week, the organization’s signature competition program. Featuring 167 of the country’s most promising artists across 10 disciplines, they performed and exhibited their work, and participated in master classes with internationally recognized leaders in their field.

If you missed National YoungArts Week, the regional program – YoungArts Miami – is coming up soon February 21 – 26. For tickets and more information, visit www.youngarts.org.
