Cabaret at FaenaSamsara Cabaret at Faena Theater opened to a VIP crowd. Over 200 guests -- including Christina Getty, Hell Campos, Sam Robin, Louis and Angela Birdman, and Carlos Betancourt -- experienced the show, which is inspired by the Sanskrit word samsara or, rebirth and featured contemporary dance, cirque nouveau, live music and a fire performance. It runs until May 2019.
Models, Athletes and Best BuddiesSports Illustrated Swimsuit and GACP Sports, an investment firm that backs sports related businesses, hosted a Celebrity Beach Soccer Match at W South Beach to raise money for Best Buddies. Players included actor Ryan Phillippe, pop star Prince Royce and football famer Santana Moss. Later that night, the swimsuit models, the celebrities and the athletes gathered to the hotels WET Deck where they were treated to a performance by Flo Rida.
Commercial Real Estate for KidsCREW-Miami recently hosted its yearly Community, Cocktails & Connections networking and fundraising event in Miami Towers Sky Lounge. Over 100 of South Floridas professionals - including The Knight Foundations Matt Haggman, PM Environmentals Candace Chin Fatt and Blanca Commercial Real Estates Danet Linares - came out to support the organizations scholarships, providing students with grants, recognition and real estate networking opportunities.
BALEENKitchen PartyIn Sunny Isles Beach, BALEENkitchen hosted a grand opening party in the Noble House resort, Sole on the Ocean. Billing itself as a globally-inspired, locally-sourced dining outpost, guests including Sebastian Rocha and Stellar Talent Agency's Barbara Agozzino and Britt Maulty were offered refreshing cocktails and three varieties of the Moscow mules, including one poured with Brazilian cachaca. The kitchen there is headed by corporate executive chef Adam Votaw who comes from The Dining Room at Little Palm Island and executive chef Matt Richman, who recently arrived in Miami.
