North Miami, FL…. The Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami has more ways than ever for young people to experience the vibrant world of contemporary art this fall. In addition to new weekly classes and monthly programs for students ages 13-19, MOCA has created a membership group especially for teens.
“MOCA offers great opportunities for young people to learn more about art as well as to get to know other kids who share their interests,” said Bonnie Clearwater, Executive Director and Chief Curator. In response, MOCA is launching Contemporary Art Club, a special membership group for teens that will meet regularly for art-related activities. Contemporary Art Club will be offered as a special add-on to MOCA’s Family membership ($50) or for non-members ($75). Young people can participate in special events such as interactive exhibition tours, and artist studio visits.
