This unique collaboration united Miami's cultural leaders and showcased a new approach to Miami hospitality with a greater focus on the arts. For the first time ever, more than 500 VIP influencers, socialites and philanthropists came together to experience the unveiling of exclusive collaborative pieces for an unforgettable night dedicated to the arts.
MOCA transformed The James Royal Palm’s South Shore bar into a private screening room showcasing the best of their Optic Nerve series and a special installation by the TM Sisters. The collaboration with MOCA also featured access to special events hosted by the MOCA Leadership Circle, a dynamic network of international professionals and young collectors.
YoungArts converted the Florida Cookery Patio into an exclusive lounge, and two pop-up performances by some of the institution’s leading singers and hip-hop dancers entertained guests throughout the night. The James Royal Palm and YoungArts, a nonprofit organization that identifies and supports the next generation of American artists, collaborated with NWS on stage and debuted a special unveiling with Public School.
NWS featured three pop-up performances throughout the evening. America’s orchestral academy enhanced the evening with a carefully curated selection of works ranging from classical to contemporary and interacted with the modern approach of DJ Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. For this partnership, the New World Symphony integrated its unique program elements into the guest experience at The James Royal Palm.
Public School, New York City famed fashion house, lined the entryway with a runway of models showcasing The James Royal Palm’s signature and exclusive uniform designs. YoungArts artists also be presented a variety of commissioned uniform sketches by Public School.
Notable guests in attendance included Bonnie Clearwater, Jorge Pantoja, Tracey Robertson Carter from MOCA; Stacey Glassman-Mizener and Nathalie Cadet-James from NWS; Dao-Yi Chow and Max Pierre from Public School; and Paul T. Lehr from YoungArts. Patrick Hatton, general manager of The James Royal Palm and Lisa Zandee, senior VP of Brand Management for Denihan Hospitality Group along with celebrity DJ Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe were also in attendance.
