About the Plaza Health Network FoundationThe Plaza Health Network Foundation plays a critical role for our 7 outstanding, award winning rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers, and for the South Florida community. For the Network, the Foundation provides funds that allows for the development of patient-focused programs and services above and beyond that which is reimbursed by Medicare and Medicaid, such as the Music and Memory program for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, innovative recreational and therapeutic programs, and transport vehicles.
For the community, the Foundation participates in and presents a variety of educational and experiential programs aimed at promoting health and wellness for Boomers, seniors, and elders in the South Florida community such as the H.E.L.P. (Health Education Learning Program), a community outreach program and online resource center that provides health and wellness information from experts in the South Florida community to Boomers, seniors and their families.
