There simply is nothing better. Art Basel Miami Beach is the best art fair out there - in terms of well established artists, emerging artists, celebrity and social attendance, and the most fabulous, yet exhausting week of the year!

Panerai Design Miami/ Visionary Award Dinner Party
The events surrounding the Panerai Design Miami/ Visionary Award concluded with a cocktail and dinner hosted by Design Miami/ Founder, Craig Robins. A slew of celebrities, designers and artists, including Karolína Kurková, Elle Macpherson, Larry Gagosian, Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine and Vito Schnabel, joined Panerai CEO, Mr. Angelo Bonati, to celebrate this year’s Visionary Award recipient, SHoP Architects.
Creative Invasion Book Launch at Casa Tua
Alexandre Allard and Farfetch celebrated the international launch of art book Creative Invasion at Casa Tua in Miami Beach with friends from the art and fashion worlds.

Cocktail Dinatoire @ Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Claude Picasso and Sir Norman Rosenthal co-hosted a cocktail dinatoire with the co-owners of Galerie Gmurzynksa, Krystyna Gmurzynska, Mathias Rastorfer and Isabelle Bscher, on the occasion of the gallery's exhibition of Russian Avant-Garde works during Art Basel Miami Beach at the 2-story penthouse of the Faena Hotel Miami Beach.

Rush Foundation Art for Life Charity Art Auction
Hosted by Russel Simmons, Danny Simmons, Sam Nazarian and Jorge M. Pérez, Rush Foundation’s annual Art for Life Art Auction was held at the recently completed SLS Brickell. Executive Vice-President of Sotheby’s Americas, Andrea Fiuczynski, was the night’s auctioneer and all proceeds benefited the foundation’s arts education programs for inner-city youth and gallery programs for emerging artists and curators. Guests also enjoyed a performance by DJ M.O.S.

PAMM’s Basel Blast with Uncle Luke & Cashmere Cat
Pérez Art Museum Miami welcomed nearly 4,500 members and art world VIPs for PAMM Presents Cashmere Cat, Jillionaire + special guest Uncle Luke, a Poplife production. PAMM Director Franklin Sirmans led a toast to artists including a special tribute to Miami-based artists to welcome all. Guests explored the galleries and marveled at newly-opened exhibitions. Outside on PAMM’s east terrace, Jillionaire kicked off the party with his indie and Caribbean dance beats. Miami’s own Uncle Luke got the crowd going, with classic Miami bass hits. Norwegian musician and DJ Cashmere Cat, whose set featured breathtaking projected visual elements.
CHARLIEWOOD at Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Barrett Barrera Projects presented an exhibition of transgressive movement hosted by Christeene Vale and Ladyfag featuring the Miami Beach debut of "CHARLIEWOOD," the newest performance work from Paris-based artist Charlie le Mindu during Art Basel Miami Beach 2016.
Lionheart Capital Unveils #RitzRainbow for Art Basel
Lionheart Capital, developers of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, kicked off Art Basel with an exclusive event unveiling The #Ritz Rainbow, a massive 25-mile, light beam art installation designed by artist Yvette Mattern. The event was held inside the developments newly unveiled “Villa Lissoni,” a first look into The Residences premier villa collection designed exclusively by the projects celebrated Italian architect, Piero Lissoni.

Beyond Basel Cocktail Party and Art Exhibit
More than 250 people from across South Florida attended an exclusive Beyond Basel cocktail party and art exhibit at the Soho Beach House during Miami’s Art Basel. This invite-only event benefited leading type 1 diabetes organizations the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) and Beyond Type 1. The evening also featured three talented artists - who are all thriving in their careers despite living with type 1 diabetes - and their work; Miami-based tattoo artist Darren Brass, Houston-based multi-media artist Natalie Irish and New York-based street artist, photographer and sculptor Appleton.
7th Annual Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Finale
Russell and Danny Simmons announced Philadelphia’s Darius Frank as the Grand Finale Winner at the 7th Annual Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series competition. An annual collaboration between Bombay Sapphire and Russell and Danny Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the North American search for the next big name in visual arts involved thousands of online submissions and a series of regional gallery events.

Gary Nader Art Centre Art Basel Auction
Gary Nader Art Centre hosted a Latin American, Modern and Contemporary Art Auction to benefit the Nader Art Museum Latin America. The auction featured a variety of important works including monumental paintings, sculptures and drawings by Latin American, Modern and Contemporary artists such as Fernando Botero, Wifredo Lam, Andy Warhol, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Roberto Matta and more...
