Go Red for Women at Setai
Annual event enlightens women about heart disease

Lissette Gonzalez, CBS Miami, hosting Go Red for Women benefiting the American Heart Association at Setai Hotel South Beach
The Setai Hotel South Beach was a glorious spectacle as the American Heart Association took to the runway of Funkshion's Fall Fashion Week with its Miami Red Dress Fashion Show. As always, the annual event brought critical attention to heart disease and women. Unbeknownst to many, heart disease is the number one killer of women.

An eclectic assortment of red dresses graced the runway, accessorized by Piaget and Judith Lieber. Participating designers included Laundry by Shelli Segal and Jantzen by Perry Ellis International; Oscar de la Renta; Donna Karan; Nicole Miller; Gustavo Cadile; Angel Sanchez; Silvia Tcherassi; Diego Binetti; Victoria Lopez Castro; Fisico by Cristina Ferrari; Ever After; Koam Designs; Sarahi House of Fashion; Custo Barcelona; LAVUK; and the Project Runway Latin America Red Dress winner.

Celebrities, models and heart disease survivors walked the runway and the event was hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies, Lissette Gonzalez, meteorologist at CBS Miami, who participated in the 2010 fashion show and also hosted the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Celebration Luncheon in Broward County in September 2009. Festivities continued after the fashion show at the MOMMS Post Show Party.
