It was another great Sony Ericsson tennis tournament in Miami with the usual suspects, including Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer, but this year SocialMiami had the privilege to meet a new star on the scene, Spanish sensation Fernando Verdasco.
Verdasco has received a lot of attention of late because of his quick rise into the top 10 and unique style on and off the court. The stylish 25 year old has a great game but also great looks and a charismatic personality that seems to attract more female fans than the normal tennis star. After seeing all the excitement around the young Spaniard, SocialMiami was fortunate to find out what’s behind the buzz.
Gen Art FASHIONscape at Delano
As always, the young and the beautiful came out as Gen Art presented a new and innovative fashion event, FASHIONscape, with two of Miami's hottest up-and-coming designers, chosen by Gen Art's Fashion Department. Claudia Estrada under the label claudiae and John D. Schoemann designing for John David Collection showed their clothes in dramatic fashion vignettes with dynamic lighting and music. In its sixth year of presenting new fashion designers in Miami , Gen Art's inaugural FASHIONscape emphasizes the organization's continued commitment to the growth of independent and spirited fashion talent.

Dr. Jhonny Salomon Office Opening
Dr. Jhonny Salomon announced the opening of Dr. Jhonny Salomon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa with a grand opening celebration and debut of his new space. The intimate evening will featured an exclusive "pink carpet", specialty cocktails and hors d'oeurves, and an insider's look at the new facility. In addition, the event featured mini-spa treatments including facials, massages and nutrition consultations.
