Vanidades Fashion Lounge

Vanidades, the most read fashion magazine in the Hispanic Market, in collaboration with Maybelline New York, Garnier and the American Heart Association, made an outstanding impact on New York Fashion week with their premier presentation of the Vanidades Fashion Lounge.

The Vanidades Fashion Lounge featured the Fall 2007 collections of Gustavo Cadile and Rafael Cennamo. Hosted by the new “face” of Maybelline New York, Danna Garcia, the shows were packed with over 450 people in attendance including celebrities, socialites, and some of the most important fashion editors in the world. Guests included Zani Gugelman, April Hernandez, Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera, and J. Alexander.

Argentina’s own, Gustavo Cadile, featured a romantic collection of evening gowns that had an old-Hollywood glam factor with a modern element that impressed viewers. His fabrics of choice included taffeta and chiffon. His collection showcased his incredible eye for detail and a creative approach to women’s evening wear.

Rafael Cennamo, a native of Venezuela, showed a collection that combined edgy street energy with sophisticated glam. He ended the show with a dramatic, breathtaking red ball wedding dress that literally covered the runway as everyone clapped in awe and approval. This dress was a show in itself.
