This year’s concert will feature Nicole Henry, one of the jazz world's most acclaimed vocalists. Her expressive, soulful voice and uplifting energy has earned her three top 10 albums along with international accolades from Moscow to Madrid. Bring your own blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets (no coolers please). Miami City Ballet's third program doubles up on premieres with two works new to the company's repertoire - George Balanchine's boldly modern Episodes and the brillantly theatrical West Side Story Suite. MCB's own Sharks and Jets will rumble, fall in love, dance and sing in Jerome Robbins' own ballet based on his Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. A tour-de-force performed worldwide, Balanchine's thrilling Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux completes this momentous program. Tickets start at only $20.

The 60 neon sculptures in world renowned British artist Tracey Emin’s first ever US museum exhibition, “Angel without You”, contain poetic phrases frequently inspired by the poignant and painful complexity of love. In the spirit of love, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) will present a special Valentine’s Day program tailored for singles, couples and everyone in between. Emin's vibrant sculptures capture the scope of romance, making the exhibition the perfect Valentine's Day destination. The galleries will be open and artist/dancer Ana Mendez, an accomplished performance artist,, will debut a new work entitled “Date Night.” Refreshments will be served. Museum admission is $5, and tickets are available online or by phone.

Zoo Miami ambassador Ron Magill is back by popular demand with his critically acclaimed program, Sex & The Animals. This entertaining look into the courtship and breeding behaviors found throughout the animal kingdom is packed with interesting bio-facts and an amazing variety of graphic images. Dealing with everything from frogs to elephants, the program is "education through entertainment" in the best sense of the term. Magill uses humor to keep his audiences loose and uninhibited, and you won't merely laugh at what you hear, you'll howl! See the wonders of nature and learn a whole new meaning to the term "doing the wild thing." Must be 21 to attend. Advance ticket purchase is required, and tickets may be purchased online. General admission includes a wine and cheese reception from 7 to 7:45 and the program at 8. Costs are $30 p/p for Zoo members and $35 for non-members. A limited number of VIP packages ($75 for Zoo members and $85 for non-members) are available which include a full catered dinner with beer, wine and soft drinks.

The L.O.V.E. Project (Las Olas Valentine's Extravaganza) is a collaborative effort to raise funds and awareness for four worthly charities that each serve children in the local community: A Prom to Remember (provides a prom experience to teens battling cancer); Angel's Pediatric Heart House (serves children with congenital heart disease); The Pantry of Broward (provides food for senior citizens on low fixed incomes and grandparents raising their grandchildren); and Tomorrow's Rainbow (supports grieving children, teens and their families). Enjoy an evening of fun, entertainment, music by DJI - The Iceman (The Florida Panthers' official DJ), a blind date auction for singles over 40 and lots more. The auction will be accomplished through a unique and never-before-seen experience. Married couples can participate as well by raising funds from friends and family to support the event with the couple raising the most being crowned "2014 L.O.V.E.rs of the Year." Advance tickets are $65 and $75 at the event. VIP tickets with access to the L.O.V.E. lounge are $100.

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Patti Austin, accompanied by pianist Shelly Berg, will be the featured performers at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden's annual Valentine's Day Concert. Enjoy a delightfully romantic evening on the Garden House Lawn, amid the splendors of Fairchild, and either bring your own picnic and blanket or reserve a table for dinner and champagne. Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design is hosting its first ever fundraiser with a very special silent auction of "50 Works on Paper" curated by Bernice Steinbaum. Surrounded by cool art and featuring an experimental DJ set and atmospheric elements, the party will be an exhibition in itself! Enjoy cocktails by Tito's Vodka, Locust Projects' own batch of sangria and artfully crafted brews by Blue Moon Brewing Company. Sweets come from Miami-based confectionaries, Veronica's Bakeshoue and Titi's Treats, and signature sorbet and ambiance will be provided by Kryogenifex. Dark Dining allows people without disabilities to get a better understanding of what life is like for individuals with visual impairments.
