Baptist Health Foundation and South Miami Hospital are pleased to present the 57th Mercury Ball, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Trump National Doral Miami. Co-chairs for this year’s ball are Debbie and Albert Taño, M.D., and Kerry and Jorge Perez, M.D. The black-tie event features a reception at 7 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight. Proceeds from the ball will benefit the Child Development Center at South Miami Hospital.
The Child Development Center provides diagnostic and early intervention services to help children achieve their full capabilities in all areas of development. They offer a unified interdisciplinary approach to developmental problems. They assess a child's physical and psychosocial status to create an individualized treatment plan. Their team of specialists includes developmental pediatricians, occupational and physical therapists, speech/language pathologists and social workers. In cooperation with your child's physician, they refer to specialists in genetics, neurology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, psychiatry, otolaryngology and other medical specialties as needed.
