FILLMORE MIAMI BEACH AT THE JACKIE GLEASON THEATER
6 p.m. – Midnight: The new Fillmore opens its doors for a special Open House party with live music and special behind-the-scenes tours of the newly transformed theater. Check out classic poster art and photos of legendary artists that capture the power, passion and rich music history that is part of the Fillmore experience. Complimentary glass of champagne.

BOTANICAL GARDEN
9 p.m. – 3 a.m.: “Moving Light, Sleepless Night”, a multi-media event with video installations, arts exhibits, site-specific dance, live music and light shows, featuring artist Stian Roenning, Choreographer Megan Swick, Binti Drum and Dance Ensemble and jazz-fusion group Before Trees.

9 p.m.: Outdoor galleries open; video installations Garden illumination

Midnight: Video Lounge opens in Butterfly Room and Before Trees begins playing

12:30 a.m.: Dance performance by Binti Ensemble with live percussion on the Great Lawn

1:30 a.m.: Dance installation by Binti Ensemble inside sculpture on the Great Lawn

2:30 a.m. Installation and fire dancing by Binti Ensemble in the Japanese Garden

MIAMI BEACH VISITORS CENTER
6 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Experience the music, art, movies, books, magazines, photographs, menus and fashion from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s that make up DNA – Deco Nightclub Archives! Featuring original Erte costumes worn by the showgirls at the infamous Latin Quarter nightclub on Palm Island.

COLONY THEATRE
6 p.m.: Icelandic artists Magnus Sigurdarson and Ragnar Kjartansson continue their ongoing conversation in the World Premiere performance/installation “Wounded Knee”. Curated by Mariangela Capuzzo.

8 p.m.: From Japan, the Florida Premiere of the film “Hula Girls” by award-winning director Lee Sang Il. In Japanese with English subtitles. Presented by the Consulate General of Japan in Miami.

8 p.m. – 6 a.m.: The Colony’s exterior comes to life with Digital Diversions, curated by Rhonda Mitrani: New York artist Ivan Martinez’s interactive “My Generation’s Legacy is Anxiety and Complacency”; and Miami’s Clifton Childree and Nikki Rollason’s “Sleepless in Miami”.

10 p.m.: Rhonda Mitrani presents Classics at the Colony: “Casablanca”

11:45 p.m.: Classics at the Colony: “Annie Hall”

1 a.m.: Move over Dame Edna! The renowned Mrs. Levy’s in town! Todd Waddington stars as Harriett Levy.

2 a.m.: Classics at the Colony: “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”

9 p.m. – 1 a.m.: The Miami Beach Cinematheque presents “Sleepless Cine-Theatre” in the Plaza de Espana: pivotal international silent films set to interpretive cutting-edge performances by contemporary artists. Program includes “Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” with musical and sonic performance by Nicole Martinez, Juan Marestany and Marlene Lopez; “Battleship Potemkin” with improvised poetry and poems read by Jonathan Gans, together with jazz tap choreographer/dancer Katherine Kramer; and “Entr’acte” and “Un Chien Andalou” with music and dance by Siempre Flamenco and friends.
