Nature’s Wonder
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

(Continued from Innocence to Elegance)

As a setting for your wedding, special anniversary or birthday as well as a backdrop for quince photographs, portraits or group photographs, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, located south of Miami on an 83-acre site between historic Old Cutler Road and Biscayne Bay, adds a natural beauty to your memories.

Established in 1938, the garden is internationally renowned for its collections of palms, cycads and other tropical plants, including many rare and endangered species. The Fairchild collections include an extraordinary array of flowering trees, shrubs, and vines, bromeliads, orchids and other epiphytes and rare plants collected from locations stretching from the Bahamas to the Orient, as well as an abundance of native and other tropical specimens.

Fairchild combines the beauty of its horticultural display with its role as a living museum, laboratory and center of learning and discovery. Its lush landscape and superb collections are appreciated by gardeners, tourists, photographers, scientists and nature lovers of all ages. In the world where natural resources are shrinking at an alarming pace, and where unique species are vanishing every year, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an important member of the global environmental community.

The coral rock staircases at the Bailey Palm Glade, the waterfalls in the Rainforest and Sunken Garden, the columns of the Vine Pergola, or the architecture of the Amphitheater are just a few of the many beautiful settings for your event and photographs.
