Go Red for Women

Bacardi sponsored an exclusive after-party for the designers, celebrities, and benefactors involved with this year's Red Dress Fashion Show hosted by Sean and Ana Wolfington at their waterfront estate in Key Biscayne. The biggest designers in the world created one-of-a-kind red dresses for the event. The red dresses were created by many top designers such as Marc Jacobs, Richie Rich and celebrity designers like Jennifer Lopez. Go Red for Women is the national campaign of the American Heart Association that creates awareness of America's number-one killer of women: heart disease. The Red Dress movement has become a prestigious component of several entertainment events including the Oscars, Grammies, Emmys and, for the first time, at Miami's Fashion Week. The dinner event included a tasting of "Velvet Glove", the 99pt rated wine made by the most acclaimed winemakers in the world, Sarah and Sparky Marquis, from Mollydooker, who have created more 99pt rated wines in the last 10 years than anyone in the world. The event was topped off by musical performances from American Idol finalist Joanne Borgella and Grammy nominated artists Adriana Lucia and Javier Garcia.
