In South Florida, the name Elysze Held is synonymous with style. As founder and president of the Miami fashion consulting firm, Style Out of the City, Elysze is the personal stylist to Deco Drive’s hosts, Lynn Martinez and Louis Aguirre, on WSVN7 and has dressed models, super-models, celebrities, and fashionistas!

Elysze entered the South Florida fashion scene from San Francisco, as fashion director for Lillie Rubin (84 stores), then onto fashion styling and directing at Burdines, Florida. Elysze frequently commutes to New York, and is a field producer for Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week, and styles national advertising campaigns. Art Basel Week in Miami was a mix of Art and Fashion - and everyone “brought it out for Basel!” SocialMiami contributor, stylist Elysze Held, reveals the first of her picks for the 2011 ART BASEL STYLE STARS.

SUNDAY: On Adrienne, a 19th c. color silk and cotton Ikat coat, silver Turkish Ottoman period belt, Portuguese silver filigree necklace. On Marvin, Polo and suede jacket by Ralph Lauren, Ferragamo suede loafers at private dinner hosted by Culture Magazine to honor Design Miami''s new director Marianne Goebl.

TUESDAY DAY: Adrienne wears collage skirt of her own design and Marvin is wearing a berry colored Ralph Lauren seer sucker jacket with white polo, silk Ikat neck scarf and velvet raspberry slippers embroidered with foxes at the luncheon at Fairchild Tropical Gardens in honor of Paul Kasmin Gallery artist Will Ryman''s sculpture installation.


TUESDAY EVENING: Adrienne in antique green velvet cape from Uzbekistan with a fine cross stitch embroidered trim.; her unique Jewelry is from Afganistan. Marvin in black and blue cashmere jacket by Oxford, at the Opening night of Art Miami Fair.

TUESDAY EVENING: Back of cape feature floating sleeve-like panels attached at ends to form a V.

WEDNESDAY DAY: Adrienne in a dramatic 20th c. Nigerian Ewe Knife Chief''s robe of indigo dyed and embroidered kente cloth, a deacquisition from the Brooklyn Museum''s collection. Marvin in Ralph Lauren grey and white seer sucker, black polo and black velvet monogrammed slippers (caught lounging in the "Max''s Kansas City" exhibit in Loretta Howard''s booth on opening day of Art Basel)

WEDNESDAY EVENING: Marvin in his fave Ralph Lauren suede jacket with a teal patterned neck scarf. Adrienne in antique Turkish silver embroidered wedding coat with their best pal artist James Rosenquist., at Private dinner in the penthouse of the Raleigh hosted by Larry Gagosian and Aerin Lauder. Also present were Jim''s close personal friends Michael Douglas and beauty Catherine Zeta Jones.


THURSDAY EVENING: Adrienne in a festive dress of her own design refashioned from a mirrored and embroidered wall hanging textile from their travels to Gujurat, India. Marvin in Ralph Lauren green corduroy jacket, polo, floral embroidered green scarf from Kashmir, green velvet monogrammed slippers at Art Basel 10th Anniversary party.

FRIDAY DAY: Adrienne wearing 1970s graphic print caftan by Alfred Shaheen and Prada suede boots with large block heel while escaping the sun inside of Design Miami''s designer of the year architect David Adjaye''s wooden Genesis sculpture.


FRIDAY EVENING: Marvin in Valentino white dinner jacket, Brioni tux shirt, jeans, orange silk batik scarf and black monogrammed velvet slippers.; Adrienne in teal silk chiffon sari with gold and tangerine embroidery and Indian gold jewelry, at one of the most glamourous events of the week, the Cartier dinner at the charming A-Rod''s modern mans on the bay.

SATURDAY: Visiting some of the other fair sites on Saturday bon Haes goes with a pop of color with one of her own designs using a citron yellow "Nothing Runs Like a Deere" print which she has turn into a fun and witty statement as fashion and art.
