The Bass Ball 2017, presented by CHANEL, will feature an evening of art, performance, dinner and dancing for 250 of Miami’s art patrons and cultural influencers. As one of city’s most highly anticipated fundraisers of the year, The Bass' annual gala provides vital support for the Museum’s exhibitions and programs. The Bass’s re-opening exhibitions will serve as the backdrop for an elegant and fashionable evening where guests are encouraged to Come As You Art! Chairs are Olga and Alex Blavatnik, Criselda and Jonathan Breene, Clara Bullrich and Josue Lain Velilla, Diane and Alan Lieberman, Soledad Picón and Alejandro Viel Temperley, Inés Rivero, and Alisa and Emilio Romano.

Tickets for the gala - $1,500 for an individual ticket and $12,000 for a table of eight - are available online by visiting www.TheBass.org/theBassBall2017.

ABOUT THE BASS

The Bass is Miami Beach’s contemporary art museum, presenting contemporary art to excite, challenge and educate. Through a schedule of changing exhibitions, The Bass focuses on mid-career and established artists that reflect the spirit and international character of Miami Beach.

Founded in 1964 and set within an original 1930s Art Deco building, The Bass seeks to expand the interpretation of contemporary art by incorporating disciplines of contemporary culture, such as design, fashion and architecture, into the exhibition program. Central to the museum’s mission, The Bass maintains a vigorous and innovative education program for lifelong learning and visitors of all ages. The Bass IDEAS uses art as a catalyst for creativity and growth, with a specialty in early childhood learning.
