Vanderpump Goes Rosé

I'm traveling this week and heard Lisa Vanderpump was going to be in Philadelphia with her daughter Pandora and son-in-law Jason to promote their newly launched wine called Vanderpump Rosé. I was interested to see what all of the excitement was about, so I stopped by with my friends Honey Jaffe Tishgart, Kayla Kierys, and Carrie Harlan.

Many friends have told me the brand new Vanderpump Rosé is delicious, and it's reasonably priced at less than $20 a bottle for the 750ml size.

The event, run by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, was at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection store in Ardmore, PA. Guests started lining up at 7 a.m. for Lisa's 2 p.m. appearance. This store is the "it" location for Meet & Greets with VIPs who have liquor brands. Bethenny Frankel also made an appearance at the store in 2015.

Lisa is known to frequent Miami on many occasions, including supporting gay rights at the White Party, where she launched her Vanderpump LVP Sangria, touring PAMM to view fabulous artwork, and more, so I asked her some fun questions about our Magic City.

What do you love about Miami?
I really enjoy the culture in Miami. It's a little humid for me - my hair gets a little crazy. But I just love the whole feeling about it. I've spent a lot of time in Florida, especially in my early years. I just love the whole feeling about it. Miami has great energy!

What is your favorite restaurant in Miami?
Casa Tua, I love it there.

What's your favorite store or area to shop?
I love Bal Harbour Shops, and I get in trouble every time I'm there (for shopping too much.)

Any plans to open up a restaurant in Miami?
I'm not going to open a restaurant there, though I have been asked. Well, right now no; I've got my hands full.

What advice do you have for someone looking to open a restaurant?
Be unique, be passionate about it. Bring your own design - lighting and music. It's not just about food: it's about the whole experience.

Currently Jax Taylor (cast member on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules) is considering taking a job in Tampa. He's also discussed on E! News about considering a move to Miami. What are your thoughts on that?
Well, I don't know. I think Jax needs me in his life right now to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Is your rosé wine Vanderpump available for sale throughout the country?
(Looks at her daughter Pandora to confirm details) Yes, pretty much.

What is your favorite thing about Philadelphia?
I've just gotten here, but I've loved driving down by the river and seeing the cherry blossoms.
